Paprocki, E. J.
(American, Born 1971)

O16 x 20

Internationally renowned American artist E.J. Paprocki was born in Chicago in 1971.  An avid painter since childhod, he studied business and Fine Art at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois.  After receiving his bachelors degree, Paprocki augmented his formal studies with extensive travels in Europe, painting and visiting the great museums.  His repertorie includes European and American landscapes, cityscapes, still lifes, and portraits of family life, with much of his work done en plein air.  Exhibited widely, he has been featured in 18 one-man exhibitions and many prestigious group shows on two continents.  His work has received critical acclaim and has been featured in International Artist Magazine, Art of the West, Southwest Art, Naples Illustrated, Gulfshore Life and many other publications.  His sensitive and evocative paintings have earned legions of fans across the globe and are included in over 1000 public, private, and corporate collections in Europe, America, Asia and Australia.

“He unites his powers of observation with the expressive pictorial means of paint and the result is a personal commentary on where he has been, what he has seen, and how he felt at that moment in time.  He neither exaggerates nor distorts but simply presents a projection of his own feelings made tangible by his experience of nature.  His works place E.J. Paprocki in the role of medium, who can conjure for us, the audience, images that enable us to become participants in the landscape not just observers of it.” – Patricia Hernes
