Roger Muhl was born in 1929 in Strasbourg near the German border. He studied painting at the National School of Decorative Arts until 1952 when he moved to Paris and settled at Montreux-Chateau. There he studied at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Decoratifs.
His representational style is collected and represented worldwide including Galerie Grossmann, Switzerland, Galerie de la Bouquinerie de l’Institut, Paris, and Tooth Galerie, London. Some of his awards are the Edith Wharton Award, Design and Art Society, NYC, European prize Fondation Seidel Allemagne and Prestige des Arts to name a few.
